- Animal Care
- The Animal Care Worker will work one-on-one with animals, alternating between inside and outside animal treatment room. They will monitor and track their medical progress and provide basic healthcare. Educational requirements for this position may vary according to animal care setting.

Duties include:
- Feed, water, groom, and exercise animals, as well as clean and disinfect cages.
- Observe and monitor overall health of animals to include body temperature changes, stool and urine discoloration, feeding and eating responses, and stress levels.
- Play with animals, provide physical therapy, provide companionship, and observe behavioral changes that could indicate illness or injury.
- Public Relations & Fundraising
- The Public Relations Specialist will perform a variety of functions in which they create and promote a positive image for PAWS. They will keep the public informed of the sanctuary's current goals with respect to the needs, attitudes, and opinions of its audience.
Duties include:
- Arrange and direct speaking engagements, press conferences, meetings and conventions, and fundraising campaigns.
- Prepare material for events, such as speeches and press releases, magazine articles, pamphlets, and newsletters.
- Work closely with graphic artists, designers, printers, and other media experts.

- Groundskeeping
- The Groundskeeper will be responsible for upkeep of grounds and participation in ground construction activities. Working conditions include dirty environment, extreme temperatures, lifts or carries heavy objects.
Duties include:
- Plants shrubs, trees, and flowers; prunes trees and shrubs.
- Removes debris from stairs and walks, rakes leaves, and mows lawns.
- Waters trees, shrubs, and lawns and performs irrigation activities.
- Sprays for weeds and insects using unrestricted chemicals as required.
- Operates large power lawn mowers, edgers, hand tools, and large vehicles associated with ground maintenance and landscaping activities.
- Maintenance
- The Maintenance worker's job is to perform routine and extensive range of work in the repair and general maintenance of facilities, cages, and equipment under general supervision. They execute work within established procedures and processes under both verbal and written instructions.
Duties include:
- Perform minor repairs, troubleshoot, and adjust locks/hinges on cabinets, doors, and animal cages.
- Repair and treat structures such as floors and walls, including caulking and painting.
- Move and assist with cage setup and breakdown of cages.
