Possumwood Acres Wildlife Sanctuary is a non-profit center that exists solely on donations and grants, and the help of our dedicated volunteers. Our goal is to treat and release each animal back to the wild. Many animals come to us due to conflicts with man, such as being hit by cars, being attacked by cats and dogs, or being picked up as presumed orphans.  We are state and federally licensed.
