Possumwood Acres Wildlife Sanctuary is a 501(c)(3) non-profit whose goal is to rehabilitate orphaned or injured wild animals and release them back into their native populations. We specialize in the rehabilitation, care, and treatment of small mammals, songbirds, waterfowl, raptors, shorebirds, and reptiles.

OUR SERVICES

•Orphan care for babies.

ʉۢEducational programs:
These Programs are offered to schools, youth groups, civic groups, and libraries. The programs can be tailored to native local wildlife, ecology, environment, natural resources, or backyard habitat creation.​

ʉۢA Learning Center
This is available to provide experience with hands-on rehabilitation for new rehabilitators, or those interested in earning their mandatory hours of experience &  training for a variety of permits/licenses.

ʉۢA permanent home to non-releasable animals.

ʉۢPlacement of adoptable domestic animals when available.
